Welcome to the original award winning New Season Tapas Bar & Bistro on St Thomas’s Road, Chorley. We were once referred to by the Chorley Guardian as ‘the hidden gem in Chorley’s crown’ and in a recent review by Lancashire Life as a ‘little gem’. These days we are not so much a hidden gem, but a well known and respected restaurant that brings many people from outside Chorley into the town.
What undoubtedly sets New Season apart is the out-standing quality of it’s food. It is a common fact that the best food is to be found in restaurants where the chef is the owner and New Season is no exception. Head Chef and co-owner Amir Sheikh has created a menu that reflects his world-wide travels and his creativity and passion for excellent food. He brings a unique fusion of flavours ranging from the Mediterranean, North Africa and the Middle East. Each dish is prepared fresh to order using fresh herbs, spices and locally sourced produce.
New Season offers an ambience that is very warm and inviting as well as excellent service. The rich Moroccan inspired interior and the subtle tones of Buddha Bar in the background create a unique ambience that sets it apart from anywhere else. No detail is spared, from the fresh flowers on every table to the new extensive wine and cocktail list and of course excellent food that is all home-made.
In the winter you can dine in front of our roaring log fires and in the summer you can dine ‘al fresco’ under the grapevines in the Mediterranean inspired courtyard. A popular post-holiday destination for those wishing they were still in sunnier-climes! The extensive cocktail list complements the delicious array of tapas and mezze that are offered in addition to the evening a’la carte menu. The team at New Season believe that their cocktails are like their food, very much seasonal, from a Pimms enjoyed outside on a warm summer evening to a winter warmer savoured in front of the log fires.
"Discover a world of culinary delight at New Season. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service courteous and the food inspired. For a memorable evening to treasure visit New Season" Chorley Guardian
